Leicester Atletico were the visitors to sport and Desford and they were the dominant side in the first half.
Some pretty triangles and a seemingly more wanting performance gave them the edge in the first half.
The sport in Desford slope appeared to push Desford back in as Leicester Atletico put pressure on Desford in the first 20 minutes. Adam Lewis pulled off 2 big saves most notably a one on one to keep the game at 0-0
With 5 minutes of the half left however , the ball was parried with wicked spin which found its way into the back of the net
HT 0-1
The second half was chalk and cheese and Dezzy started to really move the ball well and were finding some real positives in wide areas through York, Mcgarry and even Beaumont who would occasionally come galavanting out of central defence. Higgins was finding more time to exploit these gaps
The pressure paid off when a wicked Vyce free kick crashed off the bar into the feet of Maca Parnell who slotted the ball home
At this point Desford were on top and with a free kick wide left, Vyce whipped it into the near post of Atletico.
At this point Atletico looked deflated and Parnell chased the keeper down and came out of a 50-50 with an open goal in his sights.
With the game seemingly over Atletico applied some late pressure calling on the defence of Callum Brown with a last ditch clearance.
A hard earned 3 points against a very good Leicester Atletico side.
